I have had a hard time keeping up with blogging this month, hopefully I will be more motivated in April. I did, however, manage to keep track of my CVS shopping trips. Here it is...
I went on three shopping trips to CVS this month. All items purchased are shown in one picture but each week's transaction is shown below. I spent a total of $6.07 for $36.14 worth of stuff. I would have spent less out of pocket, but I forgot my extra bucks on one of the days and didn't really feel like going home to get them.
So far, since I've started this experiment, I have spent $23.19 for $82.25 worth of merchandise. About $5 of what I spent is tax. Go here to see my CVS journey from the beginning.

Harris Teeter Shopping Trip - 64% Savings
I love it when I find bananas in the discounted produce section. I paid $1.57 for five pounds and they are still in great shape! I plan on making lots of peanut butter smoothies and possibly some banana bread pudding with the Challah that's been sitting in my freezer for a while now.
Today I spent $8.91 at Harris Teeter and saved $15.60. That's a 64% savings.
Here's how I saved:
Some of the coupons can be found online. They are highlighted in red.
Muellers Sea Shells: $1.50
On sale, $1.25 - $1.00 off coupon = $0.25
Blue Diamond Almonds: $3.59
On sale, BOGO, which makes it $1.80 - $0.50 off coupon that doubles to $1.00 = $0.80 each
Pacific Organic Chicken Broth: $3.29
On sale, $2.50 - $1.00 off coupon = $1.50
Old Orchard 100% Apple Juice: $2.99
On sale, $1.50 - $.50 off coupon that doubles to $1.00 = $0.50 each
Activia Yogurt = $2.69
On sale, $2.00 - $1 off coupon = $1
YoPlus Yogurt = $2.00
$2.00 - $1 off coupon = $1
Bananas = Clearance section, $0.30/lb
Whole chickens are also on sale for $0.59/lb! I don't know how long this promotion will last, since it's been going on for over a week now. The prices of the birds range from $2.70 - $3.25 each.
